How to get to Skageflå?
We offer boat transport from Geiranger to Skagehola and back every day, every hour from 09:00 to 19:00 throughout the summer season.
The transport is with high-speed RIB boats that are very stable and comfortable. At the same time, the trip goes at high speed so that you arrive in just under 15 minutes.
You can either buy a ticket one way or for a roundtrip.
The most common is to buy a ticket for a boat trip out and that you go all the way back to Geiranger. You will then be transported to Skagehola, which is located right down by the fjord and is the starting point for the mountain hike up to Skageflå.
The trips from Geiranger runs every full hour from kl. 09:00 to 19:00.
The trip back from Skagehola runs every hour from 10:45 to 18:45.
You must then be ready by the fjord no later than ten past half (xx: 40).
The hike from Skagehola to Skageflå takes approx. 45 minutes each way.

Prices:
Price for a trip one way is NOK. 335, - and round trip NOK. 670, - per person.
Included in the price is a cut to the landowners of Skageflå and a "tourist tax" to Stranda municipality.

Show up at least 5 minutes before departure.
You will be assigned a life jacket.
Remember sunglasses!
You are welcome to bring a dog on the boat.
Fjordsafari and hike
You get the best experience of the Geirangerfjord if you book a combination of a regular guided RIB trip first and then be dropped off at Skagehola. Then you get to experience the whole fjord and all the famous waterfalls up close. At the same time, there will be many photo stops and guiding with interesting and exciting history.
Duration of this trip is approx. a total of 45 minutes if you choose to get off at Skagehola.
